Artist Statement
My works are heavily influenced by the characteristics of the mid-century modern movement and style. I have a great appreciation for the clean elegant expressions of the movement of the 1930s through 1960s.
Each piece I create is uniquely individual. I concentrate on the silhouettes and the forms. I feel that the shapes and the balance of the designs are more crucial to the success of pieces, and the simpler grazes are there to enhance the vessels as a whole.
My work attempts to deepen the sense of styles and the expression of the mood in the people’s living and the work spaces.
